Things are getting back to ‘normal’ at Myres after the Christmas and New Year break.  The winter cobwebs are well and truly blown away, not least by the zillion storms which have blown through in the past few weeks.  The Scottish weather has been testing; minus temperatures, gale force winds, snow….it has been a real mixed bag….but the bag was definitely picked up from the Baltic section! Did we mention it has been cold…….?!

Inside and out the whole team are working hard as always. Keeping the castle in tip top condition and making improvements to ensure we offer guests the best Myres Castle can offer certainly keeps us busy!  Tasks range from complete overhauls to small tweaks and we look forward to sharing them with you in the run up to wedding season 2018.

Keeping an eye on our social media channels is the best way to stay up to date.  Our website has also recently been updated with some fresh images.  With the kind help of the 2017 wedding couple and their photographers we are able to share some of the magic Myres Castle weddings have to offer. 

Reviewing and selecting new images to portray the essence of Myres as a wedding venue is no easy task!  Each couple along with their chosen photographer brings a new dynamic and fresh eyes to the venue.  Clicking through wedding albums we are always overwhelmed by the variety, vibrancy, charm and inherent romance which shine through.  We are like a proud mum on school photo day……..
