Balmy nights make for stunning summer weddings at Myres Castle.

Picture your perfect evening. Our Barnquee is filled with sound of ceilidh music as our couples and their guests party the night away. And when breathless from dancing, take a well-earned rest in the garden.   Lit by fire pits and miles of twinkly lights, the smell of our rose garden will soothe the senses, if not those danced-out feet!  Guests can relax under the last rays of evening sun while your caterers knock up some wood-fired pizza from our very own outdoor pizza oven.

Weddings at Myres are special, and summer wedding evenings here in the lush greenery of Fife, nestled between the Lomond Hills are just about as special as you can get.

Take Some Time Out

Our grounds are more than just a garden and there are lots of nooks and crannies for your guests to explore. Dotted with outdoor seating and hung with lights and lanterns, there is always somewhere to rest awhile and take in the glorious location. Wander through the Vatican Garden and explore the paths and walkways, all lovingly tended by our Head Gardener and green-thumbed master, Matthew. 

We can give you lots more information about the flowers in the grounds if you want to link your floral theme to the plants and flowers that will be blooming at the time of your event.

Party Time!

Once refreshed from a stroll in the gardens, head back to the throng for drinks al fresco, sheltered by our stretch tent.  Our caterers know our home well and have a fabulous range of spectacular food options depending on the atmosphere you want to create.

But with a Myres Castle wedding, the party starts early as our bridal party castle guests are treated to a stunning dinner in our beautiful dining room the evening before the big day. A great chance to get together and enjoy a glass or two before the main event.

The one thing we are at Myres is relaxed. Yes, you get to stay in a beautifully appointed castle. Yes, there are formal grounds and yes, you can choose to go traditional or modern. Either way, ceremonies in the rustic beauty of the applestore, or the sun-dappled magnificence of the shade of the copper beech tree have one thing in common, they will be tailored to you and your vision for the perfect day.  Want your guests to sit in formal rows, or stand under the shade of a canopy strung with lights and greenery?  It really is your call and we'll do all we can to make sure your wedding is everything you dreamed of, and more.
