Here at Myres Castle, we pride ourselves on providing the best venue, facilities, and service possible. It is no easy feat keeping the castle and grounds in tip top condition and ensuring that each and every guest and visitor feel special.

After long hours of hard graft, there really isn’t anything more welcome than a kind word and a thank you. Whether it be a high five at the side of the dance floor or a quiet word in our ear and a handshake as guests depart - we love a little love!

We try our hardest to make all of our guests feel welcome and looked after and often find ourselves dishing out lots of thank you.

Thanks to the wedding couple for choosing Myres…

Thanks to our in-house staff for breaking a sweat keeping the castle and grounds looking fabulous…

Phew! We could go on all day!

After the hype of the wedding weekends and settling back to the grind, we are often blessed by the local postman with a special delivery. Nestled in amongst the bills and other grown up mail we find a thank you card from a Myres wedding couple. Kind words and sentiments certainly brighten up breakfast time. It is also fabulous to reminisce about past weddings and hear how couples have spent their initial honeymoon period (we are never jealous of the exotic sunny destinations and city breaks…honest!!).

Along with the thanks in person and cards, we also receive some touching emails and online reviews via Facebook. We also have our castle guest book where guests can jot down a quick note before they leave. These small gestures really do go a long way to keeping our morale and stamina high during wedding season. We love to hear of highlights and how Myres as a venue has been special for couples in so many ways.

Looking back on each wedding - and each wedding season - to reflect on how we can continuously strive to be the best of the best. Without our guests' support, we would not be the venue we are today. Without our guests' kind words we simply wouldn’t get that lovely feeling when you know you have made someone else happy.

So, before we start getting "totes emosh" - thank you for saying thank you!

My husband and I (!!!) had the most perfect wedding weekend here on 5/8/17. Henry and Amanda were flawless in their hosting and made us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our nuptials and what an absolutely stunning venue!!!

Myres Castle is an absolutely beautiful venue, both inside the castle and throughout the fabulous grounds. We got married here on 22nd July 2017 and despite it having been the first time in ages that it rained there on a Saturday...we truly had an amazing time. We first spotted Myres in a wedding venue brochure, so I looked it up online and fell in love with the place from the website alone. When we went to visit, it exceeded our expectations and we knew for sure that it was where we wanted to get married. The team at Myres are so friendly and welcoming and come the big weekend itself, Henry was on hand to ensure that we had everything we needed in the castle and that our day would run smoothly. The food provided for the castle guests was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable, not to mention beautifully decorated. I felt the grounds particularly around the Applestore and the Barnquee looked magical with the trees, fairy lights, fire pits, flowers, and candles - I wanted to stay there forever! I can't thank the team enough and I'd go back there in a heartbeat!

Myres Castle WOW!!! We got married here on 15th April 2017. We first visited Myres now over 2 and half years ago when they just had the blue prints for the barnquee. Henry & Amanda were so lovely & reassuring about how the barnquee would look for our wedding that we booked before it was even built. The grounds, the castle, the whole place just felt right and we knew the barnquee would be the same once it was built. Henry & Amanda kept us up to date with the build with emails of photos etc we were at the opening event of the barnquee to see it revealed. Myres Castle is everything and more we wanted for our wedding venue. We loved that we had not known anyone who had married here and when we would tell people where we were getting married it wasn't that well known, this was a big plus for us as it’s a unique venue and not one that does weddings every day week in week out. In fact they only do weddings from March to September & only host 1 wedding a weekend so the grounds are all yours for the whole weekend. That’s what made it special for us and made it personal that we knew we had found a hidden gem in this place. Henry & Amanda were amazing in the lead up to our wedding nothing was a hassle & everything was taken care of right down to the very detail. I felt like a queen on my wedding day having this venue just all to ourselves with a lovely intimate dinner for us and 24 guests on the Friday evening, then breakfast and a light lunch on the Saturday before the wedding then a good old fry up for the Sunday breakfast. Everyone at our wedding is still talking about what a venue it was & one of the best they have been to. Myres is just so magical and the perfect place to get married. We got our photos back from the photographer & video from videographer & the photos of the grounds speak for themselves it's amazing. Thanks again to everyone at Myres & a big thank you to Henry & Amanda you made our day perfect and we will never forget it. Thank you xx

My best friend got married at Myres. It's a stunning castle set in gorgeous Scottish country side. Staff were very accommodating and passionate about the castle and its history. The rooms were spectacular and all of us bridesmaids thoroughly enjoyed getting ready for my friends big day getting married in in the rustic barnquee which oozed romance and elegance.
